About Us

Accrington Road Runners has been established for over 30 years and currently has membership in excess of 100 of all abilities.

Training

We train each Tuesday at 6:30pm at Accrington Cricket Club, Thorneyholme Road BB5 5BD. You can park for free at the cricket club. Each training session usually consists of breaking up into 4 groups depending on ability. Join whichever group you are most comfortable in. We usually run around 10k in each training session.

If you are a newcomer joining ARR for the first time, please come down on a Tuesday night for a taster session.

Club Kit

When competing as a member of Accrington Road Runners in a race or event; it is expected you wear (and display) an ARR race vest. This is particularly important when representing the club in team events and in our club races. The club vest helps advertise and promote the club gives us a presence in races. ARR race vests ( luminous yellow/ blue piping and trim ) are available from Liam on club night/ races or text 07835796717 . All other kit (hoodies. Training tops , bags etc) can be puchased from pinosportswear.
